The Neurosurgery Kids Fund (NKF) is made up of various professionals who are dedicated to serving babies, children, and adolescents with neurosurgical conditions who have been treated at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Canada. The first action of NKF was to organize a camp to encourage camper’s to exert their independence while creating a social network of children with common ground. The name, Camp Everest, was chosen to evoke the obstacles and hardships children affected by neurosurgery have overcome.

In July 2019, Highland Moving donated moving services to deliver all the camp supplies. So many precious memories were made over the three day camp and can me viewed on the NKF Facebook page.

It was an honor being asked to deliver all the supplies for Camp Everest. What’s more touching and brings it close to home for us is the Highland team member who completed the pickup and delivery has a daughter who was once a Stollery Kid.

Highland Moving is proud to lend a hand, a truck and donate 50 teddy bears to distribute teddy bear hugs to all the campers’ beds.
